Today was a Monday, and the first time in my secondary school life that I could actually watch TV in the afternoon (The Ellen DeGenres(sp?) Show, if you were wondering what). Supposed to study for a Maths test, but thanks to Mr Yeo's wonderful tradition of always having tests on Thursdays, we are mercifully spared.
The only time watching a movie is ever counted as homework is in Social Studies.
And Citizen Kane, aside from being an oldie and all, is pretty cool. It sounds like one of those mystery/suspense thrillers that have large, major twists in the end. And lucky for us, citizen kane has A HUGE SURPRISE I BET YOU NEVER EXPECTED IT in the end!
I know because I was checking wiki for information and there, right there, was the sypnosis. And right before the big twist there was a teensy-weensy line IN THE EXACT SAME FONT AND COLOUR that read:
'spoiler warning'.... blah blah blah.
I scrolled down to fast, and there it was, staring at me in my eyes, the ending which was really a good surprise.
I hate spoilers.
Every spoiler warning should be like this:
100000001 pop-ups, each bearing the same words 'spoiler warning' in bright yellow font on black background and then this:
And then in georgia font size 0.000000005 in yellow font on white background, the end of the plot. That's the way things should be done, and then there would be no more need for spoilers so people can just GO WATCH THE MOVIE. Yay.
